As we have many days left of this UK heatwave and glorious Summer days, it feels like a long way off before we need to think about cooler weather and turning the heating on. However, if you fancy upgrading your current central heating system and creating a smart home like we have done, now is a great time to start planning it.

When we installed the Tado thermostat to control our central heating, it easily became one of the most practical and useful tools we had at home and it even helped us reduce our gas bill. Control The Tempterature With Your Phone

You can download the Tado app onto your phone and link the thermostat. Once this is in place, you can control the temperature and turn the heating on and off through your phone. Imagine how handy this is when you want your home warm before you actually get in from work!

Reduce Your Gas Bill

The auto timer function allows you to set a consistent preferred temperature so the home is always warm and never bone-chillingly cold. By doing this and not firing up the temperature from 0 to 28 degrees every time it gets cold, you don't need to use as much energy and therefore save some money on bills.
