Homeware Haul + Update From TK Maxx/Homesense

These days I would rather spend all my money on pretty homeware than to spend it on clothes. I have always loved homeware but my obsession definitely got worst once we bought our own home.

One of my favourite places to hunt for homeware is TK Maxx and Homesense for both value and style. They both belong to the same company so you'll see similar things on offer in both stores.

Not only are all the pieces super affordable, all the designs are so on trend and varied. From rustic, to shabby chic, to geometric prints and sleek'n'chic, you can literally find anything you want in there and for such a good price too. Everything is either heavily discounted or also being sold at already low prices compared to other high street stores.

I picked up a load of goodies from way back in the summer (2017) that I never got round to posting, but it's too good not to be shared. All the items now have happy places in my home.

The big haul! All of this cost just under £100, so pleased.

I had been desperately looking for some wooden brushes for my kitchen to scrub pans/dishes with. I'm crazy about trying to buy everything that is not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing. I couldn't decide which one, so I bought all 4! They were all around £2.99 each.

The dustpan, scrub and squeegee are from the same range with a griege (grey and beige crossover) part against the wood. I absolutely love them and they now reside in my Japanese zen inspired bathroom. It also matches one of the kitchen scrubs. The little scrubber on the right is used for scrubbing veggies.

Hand towels for the bathrooms and kitchen, plus new oven gloves, salad tongs, and a soap dispenser to replace the one in my kitchen which I fill up with washing up liquid.

Baskets are a must to keep things tidy and out of the way. The 2 large grey baskets are for Isaac's toys in the living room. TK Maxx and Homesense are especially great at doing these large storage baskets and we already have a few of them at home.

The 2 smaller baskets were used to store Isaac's book, but we now have a proper bookshelf so I will use them inside the wardrobes to store small bits like his socks.

Floor cushions in this super pretty geometric print. They were on sale, £5 for the 2!

The glass vase was just £2.99 and will help me transform that Scandi greenery with glass vibe in our living room. The bowls are still too new and precious to be used but I will get round to it.

These are so super cute! It has my favour colour combo of pretty coral, gold and white plus scallop edges and sprinkles print.

So happy with all my purchases and I'm planning to go back this January to see what's left in the sales. So far, I've stuck to online shopping only!

Did you guys hit the shops for the January sales?
