It's not often that I venture over to the city for food even with all the great choices of restaurants in the area, but I am so glad I made it to The Drift for lunch. I had a gorgeous meal from their Autumn menu, and I left completely content.

My favourite colour is yellow and I've always loved the idea of a bright yellow front door like the one in this photo. However, as it's such a bold colour I have to admit I'm terrified of going with this and feeling like I've made a huge mistake afterwards.

As always, I love my monthly deliveries of Degustabox* goodies. Not knowing what I'm going to get always thrills me, but sadly, September's box wasn't really to my taste. There were a few snacks that I did really enjoy, so it wasn't completely bad.

Let's take a look at this month's box.

There are many, many styles of Chinese style braised pork and all are so delicious in their own right. Pork has to be the most consumed meat for the Chinese and generally in South East Asia. From the Hakka style pork belly dishes made with preserved vegetables and pastes, to Taiwanese braised pork, each and every one of these have me reaching out for an extra bowl of rice.

After an epic meal at Superstar Korean BBQ, I could not get enough kimchi.

Do you guys find that when you've eaten something really good, you get a taste for it and can't stop eating it, then get so bored and not eat it again for ages? Haha, that is certainly the case for me.

I remember going to the baby show at around 5 months pregnant and being absolutely overwhelmed by what to buy for a newborn. There were stalls upon stalls, all selling 'must-have innovative products' and it was difficult to work out what any new parent really needed.

Stuffing is a must for a roast dinner but I've never actually used it to stuff anything before. Usually I just make them into little balls and roast them along with all the trimmings.

Having a home office space is pretty much an essential for me. It's my space for blogging, sorting through my photos and doing life admin in peace.

We have alcoves in all the rooms in our house and it's perfect for a small desk. G has his own home office in the dining area, and mine is located in our bedroom.
