Wow, the first award on my blog! Thank you to the lovely Izzy from Daisy Chains In The Rain for nominating me. 

The Liebster is an online chain-award given out by bloggers, to other bloggers as a way of recognising new bloggers or bloggers with under 200 followers. I think this is a great way of saying hi!  

The rules:

1) Link the person who has nominated you
2) Answer the questions given by the nominator
3) Nominate 11 other blogs
4) Create 11 questions for the nominees to answer
5) Notify all nominees through social media/their blogs

Here are the questions Izzy asked me:

1) What is your favourite pizza topping and why?

This is a really hard one! I’m a huge fan of pizzas and there are 2 that I always have a hard time choosing between. Anything with pepperoni, or Napoletana with anchovies, capers, olives and garlic basil oil.

2) Who is your favourite Actor/Actress, and what is your favourite film that they’re in?

Robert Carlyle aka Rumpelstiltskin/Mr Gold from the TV show [Once Upon A Time] is my current favourite actor. The way he gets into character and is so utterly believable blows my mind.

3) Name a product you love that cost under £5.

Herbal Essence Naked Dry Shampoo. The lime and mint scent is delicious. This is the only dry shampoo that doesn’t make my hair feel clogged up and smelly by the end of the day.

4) When did you start blogging and what was your first post?

My first post was in April 2014 and I blogged about My Macaron Journey - from being a novice to setting up my side business Lulu Macarons and my macaron-muse. 

5) What was your New Years resolution and have you kept it so far?

I had a few goals I’ve set for the new year. So far so good! 

6) Name a Blog or Blog post that inspires you.

I have 2! Cupcakes and Cashmere & a pair & a spare inspire me as soon as I click into a new post. These girls gets my creative juices flowing!

7) What’s your favourite high street store?

Again, not easy to choose just the one. H&M (I am also addicted to their ‘Home’ items), Dorothy Perkins, Forever21 for unusual pieces and good old Primark for all the basics.

8) What’s your favourite shade of lipstick?

Nude pink works with everything, I don’t have a particular favourite one though, I’ve yet to find the perfect one!

9) What is your favourite thing about the place where you live?

London is full of choice when it comes to food, I love it! The fashion here is also great of course.

10) What’s your biggest pet peeve?

Commuting with loud talkers, those playing music openly, and those who think it’s ok to sit on your leg because they need more than one seat… Commuting is already a peeve to endure let alone not being able to do it in peace. I’m a right grouch when it comes to public transport.

11) Describe a makeup look or fashion trend that you’ve never tried out but really want to!

A pop of red eyeshadow/liner paired with nude lips. Striking and minimal at the same time, I need to try this soon!
