This is Hong Kong's most popular way of making wings and it's so simple. If you've ever been to a BBQ in Hong Kong or southern parts of China, I can bet you will have eaten them before.
The ever popular pepper & spicy salt flavour came second on the votes for the night. Pepper and spicy salt is so versatile and can be paired with many things. Chicken wings, squid, prawns, soft shell crab, ribs, tofu, shredded chicken, and more.
Last night on Easter Sunday, I hosted a crazy chicken wing party!
One of my best friends had been watching a cooking programme and that episode involved making chicken wings in ten different styles. I quickly piped up I had 10 ways of making wings too and the chicken wing party was born.
Chicken wings 10 ways, 10 wings in each style = 100 wings! It was one of the best parties I have ever hosted, and I can't wait to do another one (once I recover from this one!)
Since I love eating so much, and talk non stop about food, I often have many people ask me for recommendations on where to eat and which restaurant is best for what.
Fish!'s mackeral bap has been on my eat list for a while, but the previous 3 times I attemped to order it, they never had any. Today, I finally got lucky.
Macarons are beautiful thing to look at, don’t you think? They are also delicious with their crisp, chewy shells and endless flavour creations in that blob of buttercream.
I didn’t even know what they were a few years ago until I stumbled on the super talented Steph’s blog Raspberri Cupcakes. They were the prettiest baked treats I’d even seen and I couldn’t wait to try the recipe for myself!
