Afternoon Tea at Patisserie Valerie | Soho, London
Afternoon Tea is just so quintessentially English and best enjoyed with good company, don't you think?
I spent a fun afternoon/evening with fellow bloggers including Hanh, Sophie, Ala, Amanda and Katy at one of my favourite cake shops; Patisserie Valerie* for their newly launched Afternoon Tea.
The set for 2 people is £25, or £30 will also include a glass of Prosecco. How good is that price?!
Far too often, Afternoon Tea is expensive, especially in London. I've paid £35-£45 before for afternoon tea, and that's per person!!
My favourite brew, an English breakfast tea, accompanied the sandwiches, quiche, scones and cakes on offer.
When bloggers gather, this scene is to be expected. It amuses me so much every time, since I am a part of it! :)
Along with the price, another great thing is that no reservation for Afternoon Tea is necessary, although it is recommended for large parties.
Patisserie Valerie is one of my go-to cake shops for buying birthday cakes for family and friends. Their cakes are always light and fluffy with great flavour combinations, and very beautifully presented.
They now have a new feature on the website where you can custom and design your own cake virtually! It's so much fun to click through and choose everything and watch it being virtually built.
Will you be going to Patisserie Valerie for Afternoon Tea?

This all looks amazing and adorable! I might need to make myself a GF version of the chicken-pesto sandwich... sounds like something I would love.
